HIGHS & LOWS......ALREADY?!? (Isaiah 58:11)

The three weeks we have been farm owners, has been overwhelming, yet exciting.   One of my exciting moments was when Paul bought me a small chain saw!!  I have ask for one several times and all he would say is “No, you will cut your leg off!”๐Ÿ™„. Guess he thinks he may need a little help keeping everything trimmed up now. Our goal right now is getting everything cleaned up...The grass was a little out of hand by the time we got it.  Paul and I love being out there working...kids not so much.  Although, they did find a few things to do.  The mowing was so much that we enlisted the kids to help.  They did pretty good for their first time mowing.  We do have a few things we need to work on next time, like staying in a pattern!!๐Ÿ˜‚. WE BOUGHT A FARM (Romans 8:28)

Paul found this piece of property on Tom Fitzgerald Rd over a year ago in April 2019.  It was once a 225 acre dairy farm.  It had been on the market close to a year when he found it.  The farm was for sale for 1.3 million๐Ÿ˜ณ๐Ÿ˜ณ.  The daughter was selling her family’s generational farm.  We  negotiated a price last year for 56 acres.  The day we told them we would accept her counter, we got an email that stated the owner had withdrew her offer due to a person making an offer for the whole farm!  We were devastated.  We had already sold our house.  We probably could have gotten out of the contract on our house, but Paul and I just didn’t feel like that was the right thing to do.
