The Farmhouse Wow!! Summer was a blur.... it was here and then gone before I knew it. We have made a lot of progress and are actually living in the house!!! We sold our house in Hartselle within a week of it being listed. We closed June 3rd. We lived upstairs in the farmhouse and slept on an air mattress for the first month of summer. We had tile work done the last 2 weeks of June and floors refinished the week after July 4th. Paul has been working on trimming out the doors and windows. After he trims, I caulk and paint. Shiplap has been installed on the stairwell with vertical boards. I got the job of painting all of that. He hung the back door that I stained and varnished.
